- Amazon announced today the launch of RxPass, a drug subscription service that will cost $5 per month as an add-on to Prime membership. RxPass is an Amazon pharmacy that provides free unlimited medications from a pre-selected list. The RxPass subscription includes medications for more than 80 common conditions, such as high blood pressure, anxiety, and acid reflux. Almost half of all Americans use one of the medications available through this program.

- You canĀ find the full list of around 60 medications here.Ā You can readĀ Amazonās press release here. SeeĀ FAQs here.
Ā
- You'll get unlimited medications delivered to your door for free; just pay the $5 monthly fee and you'll have access to unlimited medications at no cost. You must first be a Prime member.Ā
Ā
- Note:Ā RxPass does have eligibility restrictions based on insurance and the state where medications will be shipped. People with government-funded insurance, such as Medicare or Medicaid, are not currently eligible to sign up for RxPass. Furthermore, RxPass does not currently ship medications to California, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Washington. All of those states still have Amazon Pharmacy.

Lots of popular medications on this list, there are even some supplements there like Vitamin B12 and Biotin. Apparently those can get prescribed by a doctor.
RxPass can be a real moneysaver for many people, especially for someone who already pays for Prime as this will only cost them $5 extra per month. This can be a deal for someone who takes even one medication from the list, and can be major savings for someone who takes multiple of these medications.
